Here's a picture of May endearing herself to all around with her trademark squeaking. Squeaking is reserved for alert and happy times. May likes nothing better than to be up high where she can discover the world around her. Not at all to imply she only vocalizes herself in this manner. When James was born we would tell people about his quiet little cries and people would humor us that it was unique to James. In reality, newborns just can't cry very loudly yet. May, however, is challenging this conventional wisdom as when her needs aren't met to her satisfaction she lets out a wail that can be heard by the neighbors.

hehe, I like how her little toes curl up when she squeals. She's a cutie =)
Look at those legs! Oh she is so cute Krissy!! =) Just so ya know..Ezra's first cry was so loud the nurses had to YELL over it to be heard...newborns can totally make themselves known huh!? =) I can't wait to meet her.
I agree that babies can wail. Olive would let out a scream that would stop my heart. And she would look just like May while doing it. She really is a little string bean!
