Even more stickers! I am unable to move the dresser on my own, however, so it remains in the kitchen.

Walls scrubbed clean and nail holes patched.
Entire room re-taped, as yesterday's wallpaper border debacle ruined the sticky-ness.
Room primed.
Trim painted.
Wooden letters primed.

Today I stripped the wallpaper border and did some minor repairs to the wall surface. It took much longer than I thought. When Chad and I removed the wallpaper border in our room it pretty much came off in one long piece. This one refused to do that. So I had to begin the cycle of perforate-soak-scrape. Above is what I had done after the first hour of work.
Hour two, and this is how big the pieces coming down were. Can you spot the silver outlet on the floor for scale?
Hour three. I had one 7 and a half foot long wall done.
Hour four. The floor is really starting to fill up.
Hour five, most of the bottom of the border gone, but the top is being stubborn.
Hour six. That is a lot of wallpaper.
Hour seven. Border is gone. All totaled up, the boarder came down at the rate of 5 feet per hour. Yuck. Tomorrow I'll scrub down the walls and prime them. Hopefully no more unseen time suckages.

Although I've been trimming May's bangs for about a year now, she's never had an official haircut. Lately I couldn't help but notice that her jungle princess hair was getting wildly out of control and stringy on the ends. So I convinced Chad that a professional cut would be best. I packed the kids into the car (James was strangely excited to go watch) and took off for Cookie Cutters (of course.)

I had talked to her about this a few days ago, telling her how much Mommy likes to go have her haircut, how much fun it would be, and how pretty she would look when it was over. She hopped right in her pink cadillac and was ready to go, not even flinching when her stylist sprayed her down with no warning. (Honestly, lady, have you ever met a two year old? What is wrong with you?)
She had chosen to watch Elmo. That incentive, combined with practice from her many bang trims at home, made her a wonderfully still model.
She was doing such a great job that I asked the stylist to blow her out.
When asked if she wanted any ponytails she sweetly responded, "No, I all done."

May was an incredibly busy month for James. He had soccer skills classes, he continued gymnastics, and he did a trial run for t-ball. Of the three he told me he enjoyed t-ball the most. He liked that the grass was fake, and that they got to run after hitting the ball. When asked what sport he would most like to pursue, however, he answered "Football. When I play you and Daddy can watch me on tv."
