James and May had such a good visit with their grandparents last week. The kids really ran them into the ground. They went for lots and lots of walks (usually followed up by hot chocolate at the coffee shop). Walking can be a bit more of a challenge these days as May demands equal treatment and rarely permits herself to be pushed about in a stroller. We also had a couple of absolutely beautiful days to play around outside at the park and in the yard.
After Grandma left May developed some kind of pukey stomach virus and proceeded to throw up on Grandpa twice during his two-hour babysitting stint. Even after all that, Grandpa let her take a nap on his tummy. (Sorry, John, to hear that you ended up with the bug as well, though I can't say I'm surprised - we all did, too!)
It's so much fun to see Grandma and Grandpa - James is already counting down the days on the calendar until our next trip to Wisconsin!
