May's birthday went beautifully. She woke up to a "balloon room" in the living room. Then there were presents (her favorite being Kale, the baby robot from Daddy).Thank you, Auntie DeAnn for the beautiful clothes! She got to choose a new dress to wear on her special day, and she absolutely adores the baby and bag. Thank you, Great Aunt Linda for the party hat (which you will see in the video below), cute clothes, Girlie Monster, and for remembering Big Brother (who we can't get out of the Batman shirt long enough to wash it). Thank you, Grandma and Grandpa for her big girl bedding. Thank you, Uncle Erik and Aunt Darcey for her teddy bear straight from Vermont.
We took James to school and visited Daddy at work, where his class sang Happy Birthday and some nice lady gave us a pink doughnut. We then went to the library for story time. James helped me bake her cake while she napped (my first layer cake went well, even given that I forgot the vanilla).
In the evening we Skyped with Uncle Erik and Aunt Darcey and had some cake with Daddy. All in all, a very successful birthday.

We've watched this video at least 10 times! Ezra is loving "baby may counting" ha ha ha ha...I wonder when he'll stop calling her baby May. =)
GREAT job on the cake by the way!
