Our family loves Farnsworth's pumpkin patch. It's just the right size for our kiddos.
May and James each ended up choosing 18lb pumpkins. A fact that later saddened us as we tried to hollow the monsters out.
We love to play on the playground near the apple orchard after pumpkin-picking is done.
James got very adventurous this year.
Here are the kids all dressed up to go to the library's Monster Mash. (They each chose the fabric and helped design and make their costumes. Please tell me you can tell what they are. Hint, a robot and a mermaid.)
Salt Lake City's Public Librarians are the best. See them dancing with May?
Later in the moth, the kids and I went to our church's Harvest Fest. As Chad wasn't going, and as I hadn't prepared a costume for myself, I borrowed Han Solo.
Halloween morning means ghost pancakes.
Ooooooo. Spooky.
And for lunch, Franken-Beans.
And for a snack, Jack-O-Lantern quesadillas.
Here are the kids on Halloween night just as they finished up trick-or-treating. Look how happy they are all hopped up on candy!
The next morning they spent about 30 minutes going through their takes, categorizing and counting up their loot.
