A couple of weeks ago James quite literally invited me to stop and smell the flowers with him.
So I thought today would be a good day to figuratively take him up on his offer.

- The library had both the book I've been waiting for as well as a DVD I requested.
- Knowing my son napped for almost 3 hours and therefore would feel great for the rest of the day.
- Going out to dinner with my family and enjoying the food and company so much I lost track of the time.
- Getting in both a good long shower and a good kitchen scrubbing during my "break time" at home (is anything as comforting as a clean kitchen?)
- James asking me "Play with me, Momma" for the first time.
