Finally, the Easter Post

This year we totally lucked out and found an egg-dying kit at the thrift shop for 75 cents!

Look at that smile - I remember what a big deal dying eggs was when I was little.

On Easter morning our kids were dressed in their snazziest clothes.

If you can't see it so well, James's tie is green and purple striped, so he paired his little suit with his purple converse sneakers.

May got a little wooden car for painting in her Easter basket.  She got right to work.

 

It was nice enough weather to do our egg hunt outdoors.  Talk about lucky!

Look at that sweet smile!  She's definitely having fun!

Oh, James also took his training wheels off Easter day.  Pretty awesome, huh?

The problem with hard boiled eggs is that they're always so dang tricky to open!
